Yey! Writers Strike Is Over!
A deal has been struck between the major media companies and the Writers Guild of America to end the writers’ strike, former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner revealed on CNBC.
“It’s over,” Eisner said. “They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It’s going on Saturday to the writers in general.”

Film and television writers voted on Tuesday to lift their 14-week-old strike against the major studios and return to work the next day, formally ending the worst labor clash to hit Hollywood in 20 years.
“The strike is over,” WGA West President Patric Verrone announced at a news conference at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills, which served as one of the polling stations. “Out members have voted. Writers can go back to work.”

Lost – Six pre-strike episodes remain. Six additional episodes could air this season.
One Tree Hill - Six pre-strike episodes remain. Future beyond that TBD.
Prison Break – Two pre-strike episodes remain. Future beyond that TBD.
Private Practice – Expected to shoot 4 or 5 new episodes to air in April/May. (just finished watching the first 2 epi, Addison is still HOT, HOT, HOT! :D)
Smallville – Four pre-strike episodes remain. Expected to shoot 3 to 5 additional episodes to air in April/May.
Two and a Half Men – Expected to shoot 5 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.
Ugly Betty – Expected to shoot 4 or 5 new episodes to air in April/May.
